Le frère Guy Leclerc situe cette oeuvre à "l'écluse de Coatigrac'h sur l'Aulne. On aperçoit une partie du barrage et son pertuis de chasse. La maison au pignon élevé et avec une cheminée au milieu de son faîtage est l'usine électrique édifiée en 1886."
